THE C. GAYLEN ACKLEY MEMORIAL GOLF CLASSIC is back!

 

It is with a great deal of excitement that the Bellville Hospital Foundation announces the reinstatement of this annual fundraising event benefitting the Bellville Medical Center.

 

A few months ago, two Bellville golfers, Chuck King and Art Rodiek generously offered to help revive this golf tournament as an annual event.  As the Hospital Foundation is currently committed to our “Save the Hospital” fundraising campaign, we jumped at the opportunity to take advantage of their offer.

 

The tournament will take place in Bellville at the Bellville Golf & Recreation Club on Friday, October 4, 2019.  The four-person team scramble format will involve one group of teams playing in the morning and another in the afternoon.  Lunch for all golfers and participants will be served between those morning and afternoon rounds.

 

We are asking businesses and individuals to support Bellville Medical Center by sponsoring this event in a generous way.  We are looking for golfers of course, but as important will be those underwriters and sponsors making a tax-exempt donation to support the continued operation of the only hospital in Austin County.  As you may know, management of the hospital has reverted to the Bellville Hospital District.  We are “going it alone” and the sustainability of the hospital will be greatly aided by your monetary support.

 

Generous supporters for many years, Industry Telephone has once again “kicked off” the tournament’s funding with a Platinum Level sponsorship!  Thank you to all those associated with ITC. 

 

The Bellville Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax exempt entity whose sole mission is to raise money for Bellville Medical Center.  Included herein is the sponsorship form displaying the various donation levels.
